Your business already
knows the answer.

So, ask it.

Let your people keep working in the tools they like best.

Velocity links your company knowledge together as it gets created, bringing every answer and the supporting work into one place.

No new software, no extra steps, and no forced ways of working.
Whatever you need to know, just ask.

What we keep seeing

The knowledge is all there.
But nobody can get to it.

Every organisation runs on what it knows. It shows up in thousands of places; every day, examples include:

Staff having the information they need to do their jobs.

Seeing how many hours have been worked so that a wage can be calculated.

Catching the signal that the market is turning away from you.

We don't have to do it that way any more.

You never needed to know where the answer lived.

Marketing keeps the tools marketing likes. Finance keeps its spreadsheets.

Velocity connects to all of it where it sits and learns how your business fits together. After that, anyone can ask a question in plain English and get a straight answer, with the source shown so they can check it.

It goes further than answering. Ask for a service blueprint, a cost picture or a recommendation, and Velocity builds it from your own records, with every point traceable to where it came from.

Processes.

Tools.

Data.

Your team.

Now everyone carries on using what they use now.

Velocity reads from them where they are it just fits around how your team works, not the other way round. It all stays where it lives, under your control. Your people see only what they are already allowed to see.

Simple.

Ask real questions.

Get actual work done.

Which accounts have gone quiet in the last 90 days, and who owned each relationship?

Pulls in: CRM, email, contact lists, renewals tracker.

Customer knowledge sits in inboxes and personal contact books, and quotes start from scratch every time. Your teams get what a new CRM promised without anyone re-entering anything.

Several of your larger accounts have had no contact for more than 90 days. Most of those relationships sit with one person each, in their own inbox and contact book. Two of the quiet accounts have a renewal coming up.

To help move things forward it did the following:

  • Built a list of quiet accounts ranked by value, with who owned each relationship and when they last spoke.

  • Drafted a check-in email for each account owner, using the history of past conversations.

  • Drafted a briefing for the sales lead on the two accounts with a renewal coming up.

Where are we paying for the same thing twice, and what could we stop?

Pulls in: finance system, licence register, application inventory, email.

Hours worked, licences paid for twice, and numbers nobody quite trusts. The answers are already in your systems. We bring them together, so the case for a new management system may never need writing.

Two applications do the same job for the two legacy businesses, and both are paid for in full. Licences, administration and integration are each billed twice, and the two sets of numbers do not agree. Three of the applications carry work that is how you win. The rest are duplication.

To help move things forward it did the following:

  • Built a keep, merge or retire list for every application, with the work each one carries.

  • Drafted a note to the IT lead asking for usage figures on the applications marked for review.

  • Drafted a summary for the finance director showing the first set of licences to stop.

Which jobs are running over bid, and what do we do about it?

Pulls in: job spreadsheets, timesheets, ERP and email.

It discovered several jobs passed their cost budget before the work was complete, and month end is the first time anyone saw it.

The overrun starts in labour hours in the second week, long before the report shows it. One job's variations were agreed by email and never entered in the job sheet.

To help move things forward it did the following:

  • Built a live view of cost against bid for every open job, refreshed as the data changes.

  • Drafted a message to each job manager whose job is at risk, with the figures behind it.

  • Drafted a variation log for the job sheet from the emails where changes were agreed.
